Fai uns dias atopín un ranking sobre os artistas máis representativos das artes, encabezando a lista está; o artista pop, Warhol, Picasso, Nauman ou Cindy Sherman. A maioría deles moi temperáns se comparamos o longo percorrido da historia da arte.
O máis interesante, e que existen un grupo moi restrinxido dos icónicos, e un cento dos que coñecemos ben pouco ou nada. ¿Que ten pois ese GRANDE que non ten o pequeno?.
Quizais unha herdanza biolóxica axudaría, unha boa situación socioeconómica...
Ou quizais unha sociedade famélica de grandes creadores e exemplos. Pois tamén pode ser que non sexa tanto no que este GRANDE nos aporte, senón canto nos desexamos tal grandiosidade…
E se engadimos a todo isto, que o icónico muda tan rápido como a sociedade modela os seus obxectivos e valores, e que as súas vidas, como artistas, teñen que levar un confín de avatares e problemas, pois temos xa o mito perfecto do artista. Xa sexa, conceptual, romántico ou nihilista, en todos eles son creados ou escollidos por un patrón de; excentricidade, inconformismo e singularidade.

I found a link that talks about the most representative artists some days ago, in the top of the list; it's the pop artist Warhol, Picasso, Nauman or Cindy Sherman. Most of them are quite contemporary, if we compare with the long path of the history of art.
But the most interesting thing, it exists a very strict group called as ''iconic'', and then, there’re a lot of them that we don’t care. So what has the BIG artist that the others don’t have?.
Maybe a biological heritage would help him, or a good socio-economical situation.
Or maybe a hungry society of big talents and creators. Because it could be possible than the BIG one is not so genius, how we really need a gorgeous creativity example….
And if we think the iconic style changes so fast, as the society modifies the goals and the values. And that their lives as artists should be the opposite to safe and sound, so we’ve got the perfect myth of the artist. And we don’t care about the genre of these ones, it could be conceptualist, romanticist or nihilist, but they are created or chosen by the same pattern; eccentricity, nonconformity and singularity.

a verdade e que da un pouco de pena que haxa tantos artistas "pequenos" dos que non sabemos case nada...e son igual o mellores ca eses grandes... Ás veces o arte parece unha selva, o grande sempre se come ao pequeno.
ReplyDeleteCheps, cheps, e que de feito, iso de artistas grande e pequenos e tan efimero, porque por exemplo houbo artistas que agora parecennos xeniales, e en 20 anos seran autentica bazofia.. xD, e todo tan tan subxectivo ...
